Much like Storm Claudia swept through the northwest the prior day, City swept Manchester United away at the Etihad. It was a convincing three-nil triumph for Andrée Jeglertz’s side due to goals from Knaak, Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a display that truly announced their championship potential as they strengthened their position at the top of the table.
